NexGard SPECTRA is a prescription parasite prevention medication for dogs weighing 3.8-7.5 kg that requires a virtual veterinarian consultation before it can be shipped to you. This highly palatable beef-flavoured chewable tablet contains afoxolaner (2.5-5 mg/kg) and milbemycin oxime (0.5-1 mg/kg) to provide comprehensive protection against fleas, ticks, and internal parasites. Given once a month, it's an easy way to keep your dog protected year-round.
NexGard SPECTRA treats and controls flea infestations, American dog ticks, blacklegged ticks, and lone star ticks. It also treats demodicosis caused by Demodex canis and prevents heartworm disease. The medication eliminates intestinal nematode infections caused by adult hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms, while reducing Borrelia burgdorferi infections through the elimination of blacklegged tick vectors. Suitable for puppies and dogs 8 weeks of age or older, one beef-flavoured chew each month provides your pet with parasite protection in a convenient, palatable format.
