Milbemax is a prescription heartworm and intestinal parasite medication for kittens and small cats weighing 0.5-2 kg that requires a virtual veterinarian consultation before it can be shipped to you. This oral tablet contains milbemycin oxime (4 mg) and praziquantel (10 mg) to treat intestinal parasites and prevent heartworm disease in kittens 6 weeks of age and older. Frequently given every 3 months for intestinal worm treatment, once a month during mosquito season for heartworm prevention, it offers a convenient parasite management for your feline companion.
Milbemax treats hookworms, roundworms, and tapeworms in cats and prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. The tablet can be given orally directly in the mouth or hidden in a small amount of food, making administration straightforward for most cats. Formulated to provide a minimum dose of 2 mg/kg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg/kg praziquantel, Milbemax helps protect your kitten or small cat against common intestinal parasites and heartworm disease when given as directed by your veterinarian.
