Douxo Care Auricular Solution is a versatile ear care product for both dogs and cats, designed to maintain ear health and hygiene. This gentle cleansing solution is ideal for use on the ear canal, eye contours, skin folds, and greasy skin areas.
Douxo Care Auricular Solution utilizes micellar technology and soothing agents to emulsify and wash out waxy debris effectively without drying the skin. It's particularly suited for pets with sensitive ears or those prone to excess wax production, helping to maintain a healthy skin barrier. This solution ensures your pet's delicate areas are thoroughly cleaned and cared for, keeping them comfortable and free from irritation.
Ingredients
• Phytosphingosine HCl (0.02%): A pro-ceramide that helps restore the skin barrier, soothe inflammation, and maintain skin hydration.
• Micellar Solution: Utilizes micellar technology to lift and remove dirt, wax, and debris from the ear canal.
• Polysorbate 80: A surfactant that aids in the emulsification and removal of ear wax and debris.
• Aqua (Water): Acts as the solvent base for the solution
Method of Administration
• Shake well before use.
• Avoid contact of the applicator's tip with your pet's skin to help avoid contaminating the remaining solution in the bottle.
• For ear cleaning, ask your veterinarian which of the two following protocols is best for your pet: Moisten a cotton ball with solution.
• Place the moistened cotton ball in the entrance of the ear canal. OR: Hold the ear flap upwards and fill the ear canal with the solution. THEN: Gently massage the base of the ear for 60 seconds. Remove the cotton ball (if used).
• Allow pet to shake its head. Gently wipe away visible ear wax, debris, and excess solution with a clean, dry cotton ball.
• To clean other areas of the skin, moisten a cotton ball or gauze with the solution and gently wipe the area.
